This page is for Organisers wishing to visit Penarth, as well as for Local Businesses and organisations.

***********************************************************************************************************************************

On this page we aim to provide you with information such as Contact Details of Penarth based organisations, What's On in the area, and who to get in touch with if you have a query about a visit to the town.

The lead organisation in Penarth for Tourism is the Penarth Tourism & Visitor Association - P.T.V.A.
PTVA will help with some of the questions you might have if organising a visit to the town or surrounding area.
As a not for profit organisation, PTVA has limited resources, but a fund of knowledge, with which to assist you.

PARKING IN PENARTH.
There is adequate parking in Penarth for both private cars and coaches, and also limited on-street parking in the Town Centre areas, where there is both 1 Hour and 2 Hour parking according to location. Coaches can usually park quite easily in Windsor Terrace or Rectory Road for the central area, or on the Esplanade for the Pier and Pavilion. There is a large free parking area in Cliff Parade, with an area specially reserved for coaches.

TOILETS.
There are Public Toilets in Albert Road, opposite Lloyds Bank, on Penarth Pier, in the Esplanade Shelter half way along the Esplanade and at the Cliff Walk Car Park. In addition, a number of the town's many cafes, pubs and restaurants have accessible toilets.

WHERE CAN WE EAT ?
There is a large number of cafes, restaurants and public house in and around Penarth. You can eat at a top chef's restaurant overlooking the channel, enjoy a coffee in Coffee #1 or Costa Coffee, try a personally selected tea blend in the Washington Tea Rooms, take part in a Wine Tasting with Mike and his very best vintners at the Fig Tree Restaurant on the Esplanade, or just enjoy a low cost beer and pie at a well known chain pub in Windsor Road. The choice is yours !!  [Coach Companies should enquire about a free meal for their drivers, when selecting a preferred eating spot].

COSMESTON LAKES COUNTRY PARK & MEDIAEVAL VILLAGE
Cosmeston has large car parks and reserved parking for visiting coaches. The park lies on the B 4267 towards Sully, 2 miles from Penarth. There is a large cafe, public toilets, dog walking area and small shop. Parking for both coaches and private cars is free. Groups wishing to have a Guided Tour of the Mediaeval Village will need to contact the  Park Centre in advance - Self-Guided tours can be had on demand - NB - a Deposit is required for the audio equipment . The village can sometimes be very busy if school parties are also booked in - it is best to check with the office to get a quiet time for your visit. Call (02920) 701678.

PENARTH PIER PAVILION
The Pavilion was re-opened in 2012 after a £4.5 Million refit. There are regularly changing exhibitions, an excellent programme of films, and a small cafe which serves light snacks and teas/coffees etc. Please note that the cafe can get very busy at times, and you may need to build this time into your scheduling.
